For Hotel Milano La Scala 4 Star Superior in the centre of Milano, I realized the lighting project of bedrooms and connective spaces. The rooms are decorated in a warm and welcoming style and they remind to the theme of music thanks to big images on the walls that come from the Historical Archive of the Teatro alla Scala. For the bathrooms, spacious and stylish, dark marbles and refined finishes have been used. All rooms are equipped with the comforts and amenities of a luxury hotel.
The purpose of the lighting project was to support by light different atmospheres depending of the needs of the user. In doing that I tried to project an accurate relationship between light emissions and the theatricality of the environment, contributing to make the visitor feel an actor of different times and spaces. The lighting design solutions provide:
– floor lamps (Danese, Tet), appliques near the bed (Danese, Xiao Tet) and wall lamps in the room’s bathroom (Danese Kiska, with customized serigraphy)
– appliques for connective spaces (Danese, Xiao Tet double special product)
